Insurance

Practice management III class started today. I’m at the point in my program that I only have classes once a week, and they are pretty weak classes. I usually space out, or read poker blogs and strategy threads. I’ll even play poker during class, but it has proved to be a bad decision. Obviously I can’t concentrate as well, and I don’t even want to think about how many spots I’ve missed by doing that.
This class today though is talking about insurance and the different types of coverages you can get. I’m not going to be doing much more than this quick blog, and listening. I figure that in terms of a +EV move learning how to avoid, or getting covered if I can’t avoid, a multi-million dollar lawsuit or accident, is the right way to go.
Having said that, Insurance is teh suck! I can get excited about ideas like: implied odds, reverse implied odds, equity, and ICM. Terms like: Endorsements, auditable, tail coverage and the difference between occurrences and claims made, and my brain shuts down in a horrible torrent of boredom and disinterest.

Guess I’ll pay attention now,
